Compassionate Friends Meets August 30

            The Compassionate Friends support group has changed the date of its August meeting from August 23 to Thursday, August 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the meeting room of the Illinois Valley Community Hospital office building at 1305 6^th St. in Peru.

            The group assists families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age. It is a self-help support organization that offers friendship, understanding and hope to bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings.
