STREATOR – Three residents of Streator are facing charges after a raid Thursday night by the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team. They say that around 8 PM they executed a search warrant in the 600 block of North Sterling Street. During a search of the residence, they allegedly found two grams of purported cocaine in 26 jewelers baggies and one .40 caliber handgun. Taken into custody were 25-year-old Shawna R. Stevenson, 20-year-old Bobby C. Richardson Jr and 30-year-old Godfrey C. Bennett, all of Streator. All three were charged with Felony Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with the intent to Deliver. They were being held at the LaSalle County Jail with bond yet to be set.
