Streator High School Board predicts ending year under budget for expenditures

STREATOR – Streator Township High School’s Board is anticipating ending the year under budget. Superintendent Matt Seaton says revenue and expenditure reports are doing well. According to the high school’s budget report, salary and benefits, are running 2 1/2 percent under the financial plan. Seaton says he doesn’t expect additional expenditures beyond salaries and normal costs. Under the expenditure side, he predicts ending the year under budget by 2 to 3 percent. An amended budget will be presented at the end of May followed by a hearing in June.
