Compassionate Friends Meets July 26

The next meeting of the River Valley chapter of Compassionate Friends, a support group that assists families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age, is set for 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 26, in the meeting room of the Illinois Valley Community Hospital office building at 1305 6^th Street in Peru.

            The Compassionate Friends is a self-help support organization that offers friendship, understanding and hope to bereaved parents, grandparents and siblings.
