Joel T. Redfern, 55, of Streator passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Parker Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Streator.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 17th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. Tuesday, February 17th at the Solon-Telford Funeral Home, Streator.
Burial will be in Long Point Cemetery, Long Point.
Born November 3, 1970 in Peoria he was the son of John and Joyce (Luckey) Redfern.
He is survived by a son, Warren Mitchell of Streator; a grandson, Colby Crawford of Streator; his mother, Joyce Redfern of Streator; sisters, Jennifer (Bill) Vogel of Ottawa, Jill (Al) Perez of Streator and Julie Moore of Streator; nieces and nephews, Brianna (Adrian) Ortiz of Normal, Lexi (Jack) Richardson of Streator, Zachary Vogel of Ottawa, Emma (Dewayne Nutall) Perez of Streator, Noah (Maddisyn Holocker) Perez of Streator, Madison (Matthew Gellert) Redfern of Channahon, Jonathan (Hannah Pfaff) Moore of Streator and Isabella Moore of Streator; great nephews, Jaiden, Braylen and Gabriel Ortiz; and a great niece, Teegan Ortiz all of Normal.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Redfern; a brother, John Redfern; a niece, Angel Perez; and a great niece, Autumn Perez.
Joel was raised in Streator and attended St. Anthony Grade School, Northlawn Junior High and Streator High School.
He loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar and football in his younger days. He will be dearly missed by his loving family.
