OGLESBY – Illinois Valley Community College recently developed a certificate in Agricultural Studies to be offered this fall. The 16-credit certificate can be completed in as little as one year and leads directly to industry employment or advanced degrees. The certificate also provides a pathway to an AAS degree in Agronomy or Agricultural Business Management, or even a BS degree in agriculture from a partner university.
Ag program co-coordinator Kathryn Seebruck said, “The certificate provides a solid foundation through its required ag courses and flexibility through a wide range of elective agriculture courses.”
